The Harmonai GLD-448 is a high-performance 4-in/8-out digital audio processor, part of the professional GL-series DSP audio processing lineup. It features the U.S.-based Analog Devices (ADI) ADSP-21571 dual-core SHARC+ DSP chip, built on the Arm Cortex-A5 high-performance floating-point core architecture and optimized for 64-bit floating-point FIR and IIR algorithms. A/D conversion uses the AK5552 chip (32-bit, 768kHz sampling rate); D/A conversion uses the Cirrus Logic CS4398 chip (24-bit, 192kHz sampling rate), delivering professional-grade 118dB input SNR and over 120dB output SNR. The unit offers a frequency response of +0/−0.3dB, total harmonic distortion below 0.003%, and a dynamic range exceeding 122dB.
The device provides 4 channels of analog XLR balanced inputs and 8 channels of analog XLR balanced outputs. Each input channel supports 5-band Dynamic EQ (DEQ), 31-band Graphic EQ (GEQ), and 15-band Parametric EQ (PEQ). Each output channel includes 15-band PEQ plus a 512-tap FIR filter. Real-time computer control is supported via USB or RJ45 Ethernet. The front panel features a 4.58-inch ultra-HD LCD display with bilingual Chinese/English support, enabling intuitive and efficient human-machine interaction.
